"The Cottage" Bed and Breakfast Andy and Penny Ilsley extend a warm welcome in offering unique bed and continental breakfast accommodation in a lovely holiday chalet situated in the grounds of their grade II-listed 450 year old Tudor cottage situated in the picturesque and historic Warwickshire town of Kenilworth. The chalet is fully furnished , centrally heated , very private and peaceful. Location - "The Cottage" lies in the heart of "old" Kenilworth, 400 hundred yards from the famous castle (which once hosted Elizabeth I) and across the road from the magnificent Abbey Fields. Kenilworth is an excellent base from which to explore the local area. The town is situated at the very heart of England - within a short drive are the towns of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, and the birthplace of William Shakespeare at Stratford-on-Avon. Also nearby are the cities of Birmingham (England's second city) and Coventry (home to the world famous cathedral and birthplace of the car industry), the National Agricultural Centre at Stoneleigh and the National Exhibition Centre. Within walking distance you will find many excellent pubs and eating houses. |
